| Negotiate a Sales Price |
An insightful look into how to negotiate the price of a home. Before any negotiation can begin, you must determine if you or the seller has the stronger position. The resource suggests that the seller may have the stronger position if the real estate market is strong and homes are selling quickly, the seller is not in a rush to move, similiar homes are selling at or above their asking prices and there are multiple offers on your prospective home.
Conversely, you as the buyer may have the stronger position if the real estate market is weak, the seller must sell quickly or the home has been on the market for a substantial amount of time. |
